Brain on Art 2017 Conference


Lauren Hayes travelled to Valencia as an invited participant to speak at the 2017 International Conference on Mobile Brain-Body Imaging and the Neuroscience of Art, Innovation and Creativity. In addition to presenting on a panel about how disruptive neurotechnologies are changing science, arts and innovation she gave a performance/lecture on the themes of embodied music cognition and live electronic musical performance.

The (Brain on Art 2017) brings together thought-leaders and innovators acting at the intersection of the arts, neuroscience, engineering, media, industry, education and medicine to provoke day-long discussion across five critical areas leading to the development of an strategic plan for inclusion of the creative arts to foster creativity in science and engineering. Brain on Art 2017 is organized by Miguel Hernández University of Elche (Spain) and the University of Houston (USA) and will take place in Valencia (Spain).
