Exploring instability, vulnerability and unpredictability, Lauren Sarah Hayes improvises live with a hybrid analogue-digital system in a playful and tactile exploration of self-built software, voice processing, drum machines and repurposed controllers. The space, the audience, and the performer mutually affect each other through a network of sound analysis and digital signal processes. The performance can shift in any direction at any moment, sensuous, unpredictable and alive. Be prepared to be pulled in and lose your footing.

Lauren Sarah Hayes

Scottish improviser, sound artist, and researcher. She works with voice, drum machines, analogue synthesizers, and self-developed software in a cross-disciplinary field between experimental pop, techno, noise, and free improvisation.
